IGNOU PGDPPED Project, MESP 085 Synopsis and Project Report: Who can serve as the guide or supervisor?

a) From the Regional Center or Study Center; alternatively, directly from Maidan Garhi.

- In addition to the synopsis, the student should include the supervisor’s biographical information, officially signed by the supervisor (see Appendix I). The Discipline of Education, SOE, IGNOU will approve the biodata. However, biodata is not required if the student is using an academic counselor as their guide. At any given time, an academic counselor can supervise a maximum of ten students.
- At the Study Center or Regional Center, the student will turn in the summary and, if necessary, the supervisor’s biodata.
- The Study Center/Regional Center will then send these summaries to the Department of Education, SOE, IGNOU, New Delhi, for the required approval.
- The supervisor or guide will receive payment for overseeing each project. Following the learners’ final submission of their project or dissertation to the Regional Center, he or she can use a Pro forma (Appendix II) to claim Project Guidance compensation.
